I was offered a Global Hauser scholarship, I have up to March 6 to accept.

I am from Europe and still waiting... my guess is the acceptances have been sent first to those who were also offered a scholarship.
Anyways, I have an important question here: did you guys who received the offer for scholarship say that NYU would be your first priority? When I applied, I remember I didn't request the Global Houser for example because you were bound to accept straight away for NYU in case you were offered such scholarship... is the discourse similar for the other scholarships? Thanks for the info!

i applied only to NYU, not to NYU@NUS. regarding the scholarship, i remember filling up only for Hauser... i think they mentioned that if my request for Hauser fails then my application will be considered for other awards.

Well, I applied for the Hauser precisely for the same reason Fingers Crossed did, i.e. if Hauser wouldnt happen, I hoped that I would at least be in a better position for other scholarships (all else equal), primarily the Grotius scholarship. It is obviously difficult to foresee how one will respond to an offer like Hauser, especially when one doesnt have a lot of money to throw around. Being offered Hauser is also, Id say, an indication on ones chances at other top programs.

Now I am feeling like in the Twilight Zone!

BTW, I haven't heard anything from NYU and I can't log in as an accepetd student.

I assume that all (so far) admitted students, except for Fulbrights, have received an e-mail from NYU, and that these applicants also can enter the admitted students web site. The reason I exclude Fulbrights, is that they do not get information directly from NYU (or any school), but from IIE or their domestic Fulbright office. This happened to me. I was accepted by NYU yesterday and, thus, able to enter the admitted students web site, but I have not received an e-mail from NYU.

Guys...I may joke and make rude comments all for fun...and sorry if it's twisted sometimes...but trust me...Franciscan is a BIGTIME fraud...I have nothing to gain in misleading us...you just need to do the work with his various aliases to see...he's been here so long he knows all the tricks...of course the names too.

Anyway, we will move on to great things and he'll be here still trying to get into the same schools every year...good luck

To clarify the dabate about "loser" and "early winners", I called both NYU and Yale. Yale said no decision has been made and all decisions will be made by mid-March; while NYU said decisions are being released on a daily basis!!!

Cheers...if we follow your logic...this puts this thread into doubt with all the aliases.

People I sincerely hope we all do well but please acceptance or rejection is BIG deal for some of us because we have worked hard to get here...so joke but don't lie that you were at the Campus or School or Admission office of the University...you diminish the credibility of the school when you do that...so get in whichever way but don't bring the school in so as to authenticate if you're lying...good luck again to all of us...someone please bring back fun to this board...

Long time reader, first time poster. I haven't heard from NYU (applied to Int'l Tax LLM) but let me say that constanting refreshing this discussion thread is making billing any hours very difficult today. Waiting patiently.
