LLM in American Legal Studies

The LLM in American Legal Studies is designed as a general overview of the legal system in the United States and is intended for foreign-trained lawyers who wish to become eligible to take the bar exam in the United States. The program is 24 credits and may be attended full or part-time. Upon completion, students may be eligible to sit for the bar exam in Washington, California, and several other states.

LLM in Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship

The LLM in Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship addresses the substantial need for a new cadre of legal service professionals who are well-trained in the underlying regulatory schemes and well-versed in the technological and strategic features that define the newest methods of doing business. The program is intended for foreign-trained and US-trained attorneys who wish to focus their studies in the areas of privacy, cybersecurity, digital commerce, and financial technology. The program is 24 credits and may be attended full or part-time. Upon completion, students may be eligible to sit for the bar exam in Washington, California, and several other states (note that more than 24 credits may be required to complete the LLM and to meet bar eligibility requirements).
