Hi, I have applied for a general LLM at NUS (2024-25). Have you guys received an email on "Invitation to Video Q&A Session" as part of the shortlisting procedure? Do anyone knows what the session entails?

Hi there, I received one as well
i was wondering why it will take about 46 minutes, as we only have 30sec to prepare and 60sec to answer each of the questions ... and the informations for the Free Text won't take to long either - any ideas?

Those who have given the Q&A. Could you please shed some light on the type of questions they have asked?

I found the questions alright, it was nothing specific
I got two questions about different situations and was asked how I managed them and what Ive learned
So it was not really something you can prepare for, more just a way to get to know you and to test the ability to answer a question right away - like you would in a normal conversation

Does anybody know when we're supposed to hear back from them?

Looking at last year's thread, it seems some offers were made mid-February. That's also the timeframe stated on NUS' website, so hopefully that's when we should start hearing back this year. Fingers crossed for everyone!

I have applied for LLM in IADR. I have corresponded with NUS over email, asking by when may we expect communication of confirmation/ rejection of our application. NUS has given the standard reply of "by mid-february".

I am a bit anxious, as I am between jobs and I need to know the position of my application by mid-March at the latest. As per 2023-24 cohort's thread there seems to be no definite end-date for receiving confirmation.

Do any of you guys have any idea regarding timeline of this year's applications? Also do they explicitly communicate rejections or is it implied through absence of confirmation?

Hi everybody,
so I've applied for maritime law and IADR, and according to last years timeline, some applicants won't here back before April... I really hope it won't take this long this year, but apparently it can take quite some time.
