Did everyone receive an email from the postgraduate admissions office regarding funding applications shortly after their application moved to under review?

I think so. It's an automated message. I believe everyone gets it. Did anyone get a mail regarding the confirmation on their commonwealth scholarship application?

I received this the day I submitted my application.

"Thank you, for submitting your application for a Commonwealth Shared Scholarship You can edit your application form up until the closing date for applications. If you have any queries please email info@cscuk.org.uk

Commonwealth Scholarship Commission"

Additionally, one from the commonwealth Trust @ cambridge requesting to provide them with my application number from my commonwealth shared Cambridge submitted application.

Have you received any emails in addition?

No that's it. Nothing since the email asking for my application number.

any movement from anyone?

Don't think we should expect any movement. If you look at the discussion board for last year's application round, the real movement started around 1 March. Even worse, it seemed to take all of March to get everyone their decisions...

Does anyone know when the LLM offers would be rolled out the earliest? Mid-Feb?

I would be surprised if many people heard back before the start of March. I think theoretically people are supposed to start hearing back in February but I don't imagine that'll happen for another couple of weeks.

This is assuming - touch wood! - that they aren't delayed significantly again this year: they were delayed last year by almost a month, although it's not clear whether that was due more to strikes or to a significantly larger amount of applications due to people holding off applying until the course was fully in-person again.

Their confirmation email contains the following information: “Around 90% of applications are considered by the department within 12 weeks. Many applicants will receive a decision earlier than this. For those applicants who do not receive a decision within 12 weeks, it is likely your application has been placed on a reserve list and you should contact your department to check its status.”

Twelve weeks from 1 December is 23 February. I know decisions came in March last year, but if that happens again this year, that simply means the Admissions Office is downright incompetent. The email clearly implies most people will receive their decision in February.

Same. Hope this means they’re getting busy.

Mad how the Cambridge LLM deadline is a full 50 days before the Oxford MJur deadline, and Cambridge LLM applications are much shorter than Oxford MJur applications (no essay and 1 reference less), but the results come in at roughly the same time.

Hi everyone - longtime lurker here. My application status has been changed to 'awaiting approval by PAO'. This must have happened either yesterday or today, as I do check the portal fairly frequently.

I applied a few days before the deadline, if that's relevant.

Good luck to everyone!

I'm an international applicant in the sense that I need a visa to study in the UK, but I'm a current Cambridge student

Good news, fingers crossed for you!  From the other thread it looks like some MCLs are moving to PAO stage as well so hopefully a few of us will get updated soon as well.

Congratulations! From previous years threads, this is good news. What are your initials ? just trying to see if they are going alphabetically

Both are around the middle of the alphabet, so probably not

Mine has also changed to "Status: Awaiting approval by PAO - Awaiting approval by the Postgraduate Admissions Office.". I am an international student and I applied around 21 November. Does this mean something?
