Look guys... it took 10 days for Chicago to contact 50 people... I mean... how long do You think it takes for almost 10 times as many people?

I was expecting decisions to be informed by the end of March. But last week I heard from some colleagues that NYU started to send the decisions in the beginning of March ! And now, I am dying to hear from them !! I wish I didn't know that !! I was quite happy with the early decision of Georgetown !

Ah, OK. Well, Congrats lisa11!!

I'm still waiting...and I hold an American JD so I might be waiting to hear something until June though I genuinely hope not!

Have any domestic candidates heard anything from NYU (excluding the tax program)?

It's scary to think that we may not hear until June. Will you have to move? How does the AdComm expect anyone to be able to pick up and move, determine finances, and give notice with so little time?!? I'd be black-balled forever if I only gave 4-8 weeks' notice!

Anyone knows that whether NYU send admission letters during their spring vacation? or they have sent all admissions of the first group ,so we have to wait until they hear response from the first group admitted applicants?

Hey, I am waiting for the decision too, anxiously.. :(

I have a question: is there a quota for every college/ university? 2 people from my college are already selected, 1 for NYU-NUS program, 1 for domestic NYU. So I am a little worried if they select only a number of people per country or college then no point in keeping any hope for me! :( :(

Given the fact that one of the deadlines for accepting an offer expires on 18 March, then they are probably admitting students this week.

@Vicky - I have not heard anything about Int'l Legal Studies either.

I sent an e-mail to NYU and they replied me today, as follows: "Your application was competed on XXX, and is currently under review by the Committee on Graduate Admissions. At this point, we advise that you continue to check your email as you wait to receive a decision on your admission. Decisions will be released to applicants between March and June 2011".

Okay, so that means they are reading their e-mails so probably decisions will be released all of this week.
