Covering topics including environmental protection and energy production, and legal issues relating to oil and gas to renewable energy and climate change, the programme takes 2.5 years to complete and is split into six career-focused modules (20 credits each) and a dissertation. Explore both energy and environmental matters in depth, whilst still having plenty of time to reflect and apply your learning:

The University of Birmingham's Online LLM Environmental and Energy Law has been specifically designed for LLB-qualified lawyers who already work in the sector and are seeking to consolidate their knowledge in a world-class environment.
There are three intakes a year. Students can join the programme in February, June or October.

In order to be accepted onto this programme, applicants should have:
- At least an upper second-class degree or non-UK equivalent in Law OR an upper second-class degree or non-UK equivalent in an allied degree with relevant work experience in the sector
For international students standard English Language requirements apply. You must have an IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band.
