Decisions should start being released next week. Applicants who are granted a scolarship should be notified as soon as next tuesday, with something like a week to accept/refuse the offer.

Good luck to everyone!

How should we expect to receive the response from NYU?

U.S. mails? or email? Or does it depend on whether its an acceptance or a rejection?

Email. I read from other posts that the school will email applicants a link, with which you need to login in order to see the result. Correct me if I am wrong, pls.

Hello everybody,

do you know when are the Hauser and Vanderbilt decesions likely to be made? It seems that in 2009, the letters were dated around 22 february, not sure about last year

Last year, they were sent on March 1st... with an acceptance deadline expiring on March 9th.

Usually applicants for TAX Programs and NUS receive the first news. But I think that until next week nobody have received decisions about the Traditional LLM, Corporate and Intl LLM´S.

RE SHORT NOTICE FOR SCHOLARSHIP ACCEPTANCE

I think NYU strategically releases its offers to scholarship recipients with such short notice (by March 8 thereabout or March 17th) because NYU wants students to accept their offers before finding out from the other top schools (Harvard for example) whether they have been accepted.

I really do not like that policy. NYU asks you to not only withdraw from any offers that you have received, they mandate that you also withdraw your application! This means that if you accept NYU's scholarship offer, you will not ever know if you were accepted by other top schools which would have been yet to release their decisions.

I applied to NYU but I admit this was one of the things about their policy that turned me off.
