Official NYU decision board :D

Or maybe they just get upset and reject me...who knows. But it's all so frustrating...I'd like just to know if it's yes or not.

Well i dont think they would reject you just because you email them about that. Hang in there. We (I) know exactly how you feel.

Has anyone admitted to the full-time LLM domestic tax program in NYC (other than Trimanms) received a scholarship? If so, had you already accepted NYU's offer? I'm wondering whether sending in enrollment form/deposit speeds things up. Also, were you notified by e-mail? Thank you!! Good luck to everyone! This waiting game is crazy!

I was admitted, but didn't hear anything about any sort of scholarship. I didn't apply for any of the special ones. I was admitted in late January.

I just called and they said acceptances will roll at random (as the committee decides) until April. Let the waiting game continue for way way way too long ...

After three month from the deadline they are still making decisions?!?! I just find this quite unbelivable..

Yup, same. If I didn't get a completion e-mail, I'd be concerned that I missed a step, but they confirmed that my application was completed. What program did you apply for? Maybe the individual programs are decided together.

So maybe they just have our apps in a random stack. I applied for Competition, Information, and Innovation and have not heard anything/seen anything posted here.

I received the email saying my application was complete in mid-december, and have applied for the Traditional LLM. The worst part is that they have not released all emails at once, and thus, part of us have been already admitted and part of us is still waiting for something that might take ages to come (which is my case).

Yeah, I keep trying to put my information into the login hoping my email is delayed, but I'm set up on their site to receive my results. I'm hoping that because the example birthday is mine exactly, it's good luck or something, haha.

Yeah, I saw a bunch of Traditionals. Maybe it isn't program-ordered and just randomly stacked piles.

Oh I think the one you are trying is only for admitted students. The one to which they send the decision is the application one.

It will be the main page. A link will be placed under "continue your 2011 application" button, according to the admitted. If you cant see anything, it seems its not ready yet

For what I've seen in other addmision processes, some law schools wait the final application deadline to start the first step of the process, in which they only look if the applications are complete. This is the time in which we received the "application complete" email.
Only after that step they start to review the applications.
That is why I think we dhouldn't get too worried or pissed off by the fact that there's been five or six months since we dent our applications.
The other thing I could observe in other threads is that some schools divide the application pool in different lots (don't ask me by which criteria) and maybe this explains the unexplainable randomness of the decisions.
Those are just some things I keep telling myself to try to calm me down. It is not working though....

Thanks for the insight! Those things make sense to me. The lady i spoke with in admissions earlier today told me that the applications are just randomly looked over by the committee, and as the committee makes decisions, the notifications go out. So stressful...
