Hi there, got the Arthur T. Vanderbilt scholarship for the full-tuition of the International Business Regulation Arbitration and Dispute Resolution. I just got also admitted in Berkeley without any scholarship. I want to focus my LLM in Finance and Banking law but I prefer sunny California to the cold NY winter, any advices? Thank u and all the best for u all!

are you kidding? the subjects you want with full tuition? what's to think about? Put up with the weather for one year only...

congrats to all admitted today!

I can't believe this question..

Between trying to log into the admitted students site (even though I am yet to receive an admission letter/e-mail), logging into the application site and checking LLM Guide for updates, I think I am going nuts!

I think we are all going nuts!

NYU please stop what you are doing! Just release the decisions! You had at least three entire months to review the applications!!!

Yes, I am going nuts!! I need my mom! :(

yeah, and in the middle of all this we get questions from people who've been admitted WITH a scholarship who seems to even not want it in the first place.

^ Yeah, it's so ironic, to say the least.

Aside from the guy who was told he got the Grotius scholarship and is waitlisted for the Hauser, did anybody else got waitlisted for other scholarships? I was admitted to the ILS program, but without any financial aid. Do they tell you if you are waitlisted for the Dean's Award or the Grotius?

I really want to go to NYU, but I don't think I can without some financial aid. :(

now this is a valid concern. lol. I've not heard anything from anyone in this forum like that, but if you can be waitlisted for the hauser, seems you can also be waitlisted for the Dean's award or the Grotius too. I'd suggest sending NYU an email to check this up with them?

I think each person has to weigh all their options. NYU may not really be the first choice for many applicants, so some persons even with admission and scholarship may be torn between NYU and another school. Each person has to make the decision that is best for them, so I really have no problem with persons who are unsure whether to accept NYU's offer of admission with scholarship as opposed to another school which is their top choice.

Looks like the main period of releasing decisions is usually late afternoon new york time. Am very suprised to have seen some even received their decision after 7pm ny time. wonder if they actually work til evening or there may be some system settings...
