NYU Application 2020-2021

Still waiting. But now I will consider NYU depending on Scholarship since I’ve been accepted by other schools that I prefer.

Do they first release admission, then the scholarships, or do they release admission plus scholarship together??


They release admission decisions first, then scholarship. Based on last year's threads, financial aid decisions should be out later this month.


Thank you for your information! I wish I can get some scholarship to help the huge expense.

I got an admission letter from nyu today.

Now I am in a dilemma.
Northwestern (plus 15000us dollars) or NYU?
I am interested in business law or tax.
any suggestions?

Yes. You are correct. And then they give you admitted students a deadline of 1 or 2 April, right?

I did get mine in early February. I think they send decision notifications on Thurdays from what I've heard (and from my experience).

I am also waiting on the scholarship decision, it should be out within 2-3 weeks right?

I think the Thursday thing is not a rule anymore.
Anyhow, no news yet (traditional LLM).

And its 7pm in NY now so guess no news today...

Yeah I’m starting to think the same. Although, its good. Now the probabilities of a response increase. Lets hope for good things ahead. All the best buddy! :)
