fyi: I got my financial aid decision yesterday ($ 0) and now I have to enroll till 6 May. I will do this but maybe others have the same deadline...

Yeah, I already did. The plan is to earn it after the LLM

anybody receive the second round of scholarships? bcz i know many of the first round scholarships recipients have declind the offer, so i guess there should be the 2nd round

Hi, has anyone heard from NYU lately? I have sent them emails requesting an expedited decision but no progress so far. Please do let me know in case there's any insight as other deadlines are month end!

Yes, I heard from NYU today. No financial aid. I declined the offer.

Just got my admission email (General LL.M.).

Application sent : Dec 19.
Application complete: Jan 14.
Admitted: April 24. (After a long and arduous wait, finally!)
I got the email at 7:27 PM IST.

So happy!

Is NYU handing out deferrals?

I was between NYU and UPenn and felt Penn was a better fit for me!

anyone else in my situation where NYU still hasn't advised of a decision? It's now April 30 and I have received no rejection, no waitlist notification - just nothing - and every time I email them they say words to the effect of "we're reviewing it." Anyway, I already have two offers from two T-14 law schools each of which have offered scholarships covering 70% of the tuition, so unlikely NYU can match it. NYU is now a lost cause to me, unless they offer something remarkable.

I think they are waiting how many students postpone the LLM... But I would not expect any scholarship from NYU

I got waitlisted, so I didn't /just/ get rejections this year ;-)
Honestly I'm pretty happy, months of stress aside. Unfortunately, I'm flat broke, so I'm going to have to decline it.
