still no news regarding admissions from NYU and I have to decide whether to secure my place at UPenn. Any advise? Anyone else in this dilemma?

Received a dean's graduate award for 25k. Applied for domestic tax program, and accepted around the end of January. Not sure whether to take it or not, given the uncertainty in the job market because of corona. Stats for those curious:

T25 JD
top 15%
law review
some tax work experience

I also was awarded this scholarship. Georgetown gave me a full ride, however, so I declined the offer.

Admissions office said the rest of the admission decisions will be delivered by early May. Think the COVID-19 has affected their review process. Nevertheless, in previous years NYU continued to release offers in May or even June. Hope things get better soon.

Any idea if ALL scholarship decisions, including the Hauser and the Vanderbilt, are out?

How many Hausers are awarded each year? I reckon from earlier posts on this thread that two candidates have posted of securing the Hauser this year.

Hi there, I applied to the Full Time LLM App for Foreign Lawyers and I haven't heard back yet. Did anyone else apply to that one and if so have you heard back?

Same here, maybe we’ll start hearing from them after the 1st, when they have a last headcount.

I’m in the same situation, and I really think it is a disrespectful way to approach admission process. I mean, they should at least tell us that we are waitlisted until someone else decline admission offer. Very disappointed.

From what I've seen from previous years, 10.

Couldn't agree more. So disrespectful and off-putting. We put time and effort into submitting our applications on time within their deadline -- the least they can do is give us their decision within the normal deadline too. They're about to lose a whole lot of awesome candidates who're going to commit to other schools on April 1st

Totally. NYU and Columbia are the first places I applied to, but the only programs that have not given me a decision (was admitted to Georgetown, Berkeley and UCLA's LLMs).

I wrote to Georgetown, requesting an extension of the decision deadline (today-April 1) and they gave me an extension until April 15th - still, there is no guarantee that NYU will respond before that and I do not want to make a decision before I know all of my options. This is so frustrating!

I shot an email to NYU asking about the decision. They stated that their decisions are all on rolling basis and most foreign applicants are likely to receive a response during April - before May. Here 's hoping!

Is there a specific time at which they send decisions/scholarships? If so, what is that time in NYC Standard Time?

Thanks in advance.

Also, this is the first Thursday after April 1, which was the deadline to accept offers for those who got accepted. Should the rest of us be accepting responses today?
