GW University, LLM. Scholarship

LenaGrud8

I'm interested in applying for the Spring 2025 admission at George Washington University. While I found detailed information about scholarships for the JD program on the university's website, there isn't much information about financial aid for international LLM students.

Could you please share if there are any additional materials and/or statistics regarding scholarships for international LLM students? I'm particularly interested in knowing if the university ever offers full scholarships to international LLM students, as this is crucial for me. Are there any specific steps or strategies to improve the chances of receiving a full scholarship?

Google "GW scholarship information LLM" and you will find that there are scholarships for certain specific programs.

In addtion, a lot of schools offer partial scholarships to attrack larger registration numbers that are not necessarely advertised, so apply regardless, even to schools that are not your top choises.

Finally, reach out to the financial aid office! They generally have all the information you may need regarding scholarship options available.

Best of luck! Feel free to reach out if you have other questions.

Hi LenaGrud8!

I can't advise you on specific scholarships but I do have a lot of experience in looking and applying for funding. I did my LLM at Harvard a few years ago, and raising $92k to fund it has been quite an adventure.

I write about my experience of applying for admission and financial aid on my blog (link in the bio)/

I've also created a 70-page guide on how to fund a master's degree with everything I know about funding

and a guide on how to negotiate financial aid, both can be found on my website.

Best of luck with your applications!
