since I live in Bosnia, I think regular mail will come to me on time for the LL.M program 2007/2008 :)

Just kidding...I agree its weird that they did not send e mail first...

So, I have time to hope obviously :))))

congradulations for all of those admitted...

do they say in the admission notice about the scholarships and fin aid as well?

Anyone else? Nothing here, so far...
I can't understand why they don't send at least an e-mail indicating that your decision has been mailed and informing about your particular Track Number in order to follow the package or to re-route it if you need to do so... Georgetown did it, for instance.

Good luck to everybody!

Nothing here neither..... However, I have had 35 seconds of pure hapiness when the mail was delivered this morning : a big brown "air mail" envelope was among the bills and ads. But It was only UPenn sending me the registration materials.

In french we call that a "fausse joie" (false joy...?). This one was big.

Keep u posted.

Did you know that today starts the spring recess at NYU? Today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow nobody will be at the admissions office. So I guess all mail´s on the road right now...

I don't know who told you that the decision are sent by UPS but it's not true.
I talked to the admissions office of NYU, they told me that the letters are sent by regular US mail. It will take approx 7-10 days the letters to be delivered to the applicants.

sorry.. bitter end..

The misunderstanding might be from my post...I posted "UPS"...actually it is USPS...I typed it wrong...Sorry about that..!

Anyway, I currently live in U.S. and I received the " next day delivery" package...I dont know about international mail...The next day delivery might become ..."many-day" delivery for int'l applicants.

this technical question is getting rather interesting.
my package was indeed delivered by UPS (not USPS-which is the US public postal service). it's by "next day air" and was delivered by a UPS messenger to my door (not just left in my mailbox), and i needed to sign to acknowledge receipt.

btw, it's a big white envelope marked "Welcome Admitted Students". so the UPS person was the first one to congratulate me. that was nice...

well, i live in the US. i guess overseas mails may be handled differently...

good luck to all who are still waiting!

hey guys,

Just got the package today! (yes, UPS). They shipped it to my office in Mexico. So, probably some of you will find a nice surpise as soon as you get home. Best of luck! Does anyone know the size of the applicant pool and ratio of admitted?

Just received an offer of admissions via email from NYU, stating that i would also be receiving a hardcopy letter sent by "UPS international express mail."

The email also said the hardcopy letter would have information concerning decisions on scholarships.
