No one can have heard from NYU since all the decisions will be sent on Wednesday 15th ...

A litle clarification about the date when NYU will inform its admission. The e-mail that I received said that we will have news on our about March 15, no necesarelly the same 15.

Last year..my friend's friend got the offer around May...'til she almost went to another school....

I don't think they will send answers after March 15th, otherwise they will be swamped with our calls :)

yeh, should be around the week of the 15th...
mid march to may? that's not "on or about"...

lol, intense times! best of luck for those who applied. btw.......how many of you applied for the Haus Global Scholarship? that would be a killer scholarship to land:)
Posted Mar 12, 2006 13:26
Does anyone know if the Hausers are announced with the admission or later?
Posted Mar 12, 2006 18:10
i applied for the Hauser Scholarship. Tough, indeed. I read somewhere that the decision on the scholarship will be included in the letter of admission. :-)
Posted Mar 12, 2006 19:10
I think so, too.

I have read that decision should be on Mar 15. I hope it will be like that...since I have to make decisions where to go Columbia (already admitted) or NYU (if admitted).
and I have to make this decision untill April 1. It will depend on the money I get...I will go where they give me more money. :)
Damn...I am so impatient.

Just curious: do you have a "human rights´profile"? Many Hausers did have it.

Ive received regular mail via UPS, only. no e-email.
As to my credentials: studied law in several European cities, in each case top of class. worked with McKinsey for 3 months and as a research fellow of different scholars for several years. prepared kind of bar exam last year. published several little books on different subjects (criminal law as well as property law or constitutional law) and a few articles. TOEFL 287. sent in 4 letters of recommendation (2 from scholars, 2 from attorneys). plenty of social work, this might have been important.
I dont have a specific human rights background.

Sounds impressive. Congrats.
That said, I was unaware that you could send in more than two recommendation letters.
