Congratulations to everyone already admitted!
Btw, if you are never home to get it (which is my case too), you can always re-route it to you workplace and get it there...
(Let's hope we find a notice from UPS at least to start with...)

Anuska,

I called UPS Spain and where they told me that for the "re-routing" they need the package´s ID which, obviously, we don´t have. That´s why I wanted Admissions´ e-mail address.

Yeah, congratulations to all you guys who have been admitted! For the other ones, let´s just stay calm and wait for the package (or the delivery notice, if you´re away from home)... I guess I have the same problem of Ana: I´m never home... Anyway, if you receive a notice, that´s good news - nobody sends a rejection letter via UPS...

kvdh: if UPS go to your house and you aren't there, they leave you a notice with the package number (at least FedEx and DHL work like that...I assume UPS, too)...

And I agree with Ivan regarding rejection letters...let's hope to get good news.

Congrats again for all of you admitted.

LIsten guys: I have hired Private Investigators to analyze the mailing policies of NYU and the delivering rules of UPS. They're undercover and I should get an answer very soon, which I will share with you of course. As soon as we get their report, we can set up a strategy to be sure that, under no circumstances, none of us miss the precious package. Meanwhile, hang on to your Prozac.....

PS : I am just trying to dedramatize the situation. Be sure that anxiety has also been my girlfriend for the past few days....

Hi. My admission letter was delivered by UPS this morning (10am Mar 14). I live in New Jersey, not far from NYC so I guess overseas applicants will receive their letters slightly later.

To the admitted:
Eowyn, Snow and Mint (as I know of from this thread so far)

Are you all going to take the offer? I definitely will. I'm in the Corp Law program. How about you guys? Looking forward to seeing you this summer!

Did you also receive the offer for the Summer Program "Cert in Law & Biz"? I need to decide whether I should take it. It costs an extra 13K unless I could get some grant. I am not getting any scholarships, so funding would be a pain in the neck...

Thanks and good luck to the rest.

LY,

Are you US-domestic credentialed? I'm wondering if any US LL.M. applicants will be receiving decisions in this wave although I know from the NYU website that the March 15 date only applies to non-US LL.M.'s. Thanks in advance. Congrats to all admitted and good luck to those still waiting.

Hi, jburns. I have degrees from China and UK, but not the US. So I am non-US although I currently live here. Thanks and good luck to you!

To rah23: sorry, i missed your name in my last post. :-)

With all due respect, this no-email policy is stupid, unless they send out ALL responses via UPS. If I got the rejection in the end, I would certainly like to know it asap, instead of maybe two months later, which happens a lot for int'l mail...

Anyway, congrat to those all admitted!

I have not yet got the result! I am soo anxious!
I don't understand why they would rather choose post service than email?? That would be save time and money!

Is it because they have too much money? So they would rather choose the way that would cost more money? Or the electricity('E'-mail) in NYC is more expensive than the post service fees?

Anyway, just kidding, but I do hope they will understand how anxious the rest of the applicants are

Nothing so far for me and my friends. Gonna rush straight back home from work later today to check if there's anything nice waiting for me.
