I am from Argentina. I also got the Hugo Grotiuos Scholarship and RA offer and accepted them right away. It´s a great opportunity to have a merit award plus full tuition. Don´t know if I will get paid for the RA, but it´s still a good experience. Hope to see you this Fall at NYU!!!

I graduated in 2003. Too bad you are not going to be able to make it to the reception in Puerto Madero. I just know one other person from UBA who applied. I guess that I will meet the rest of the people at the reception. It will be tough to decide between NYU, GULC, CLS and HLS -if you were admitted to these ones-, all of them great schools -especially in Internation Law, what I want to study-. Whatever you choose, is going to be a good choice cause we are talking about the best of the best. Good luck!!! If you choose NYU, see you there this Fall!!!

I also received a letter of eligibility for the Grotius fellowship, plus an offer for an RA. Have not accepted it yet. At this point, I am still undecided, as I also applied to Georgetown and HLS.
My general areas of interest include international law, arbitration, bankruptcy, jurisprudence, law & economics.
I see myself more in academia in the future, with some policy work on the side.

I was just told that I'm offered the Vanderbilt Scholarship and some kind of Research Associate Position. Does anyone know what this is about? I did not apply for any RA Position, but it does sound kind of tempting (?). Actually, I'd almost decided to go to Berkeley (just for the fun of being in CA), but now I don't know what to do with so much finAid and this RA Position offered. Berkley deadline is next monday, so I've got to make a quick decision...

I think that you should do whatever is gonna make you happy in the following year. If you think that you will be happier at CA, choose Berkeley. It's a very great university too and you will be able to go to the beach everyday :)
