I may be wrong but perhaps the candidates who get 'Application Complete' are the ones whose Letters of Recommendations were submitted by post? Someone else wrote that they contacted Admissions to be told that it did not matter that their Embark portal did not read 'Application Complete'. Just wondering if those whose recommendations were submitted electronically do not necessarily receive the 'Application Complete' note in the portal? All mine were submitted electronically before November 20th and mine still does not read 'Application Complete'.

Mine were submitted electronically. At the same time the "application complete" note came the reference status changed from "submitted" to "received".

Hey Joeyman365,
The reference status on my application already changed from "submitted" to "received".... No application complete.

It remains a mystery then!

Hi,

I submitted my LORs electronically and after a couple of weeks I got in Comments to Applicant 1: " Your Application Complete".

It is important to know that on the track status page, the LORs submitted electronically are not tracked, they are tracked in the Recommendations Tab.

Once your recommender sends it it says "submitted", but when HSL downloads it changes to "received".

Hope this help.

Comments to Applicant 1 still shows "No current status. Please check back later", anyone else? It seems pretty strange as all required materials are marked as received and no email for requesting additional materials.

It should say "Your application is complete", but maybe they have not gone through every application yet. Perhaps they change the status only once they've made a decision. However you should try calling them just to make sure it's normal.

I emailed them last Friday and the status changed to "complete" on Sunday morning...

According to last year thread, it seems everyone received an email on the same day, either of admission or rejection.

This is the humane way to do things, IMO.

This school would be the first choice for every applicant, I suppose. I am looking forward to receiving the letter. Two weeks to go, I assume.

What comment did you receive?

I was asked to provide more documentation for my application.

Just to be clear then, your application doesn't say "application complete" yet?
Regards.

It says application complete now. Was just able to send the required document across late in February. Hoping this does not affect my chances.

Not really, Yale can be first choice for academics. But, sure, it's Harvard.

Hi YKA,
I don't think it would.
