My TOEFL score status changed from "Available" to "Not available", i called and they said the score will be released after 4-6 weeks!
I know it is okay if Harvard received the score after the deadline, but don't you think that 4-6 weeks is too much? =(

4-6 weeks?! are you sure, normally it takes them like 2-3 weeks tops!

Hi there,
Has anyone received "application complete" email, or had his status updated in "Comments to Applicant 1" column at Embark? My status is still "No current status. Please check back later".
Thanks!

Hello everyone,

I applied to Harvard before November 15. All my supporting materials were submitted on time, except for my law school transcripts, which were posted from UK and haven't reached the Admissions Office yet. I contacted the A.O. before the December deadline and after, they couldn't confirm the status of the transcripts, since they were checking the mail till 11 December. I asked my previous law school to repost the transcripts again, they also contacted the A. O. and explained the situation, I also contacted them several times. Usually delivery takes max 6 days from UK to US. I am now concerned, whether this will affect the Law School's decision. Anyone experienced smth like this?

Many thanks!!!!

I don't see how this can affect their decision. Both you and your UK school contacted HLS in this regard. Also, it is my understanding that they didn't even start reviewing our applications.
I suggest that you use private courier services in the future to avoid this type of situations though.

How high precisely? So that the rest of us know if our scores will be delayed as well :)

That's just my understanding, based on posts from previous years, and my experience of not having my status updated to "application complete". That's why I asked what if the status of others has been updated in "Comments to Applicant 1" column at Embark.

Yes, that's what I was asking for, many thanks! Is there any indication of when your status was updated?

The status was updated on the 16th. However, I had my TOEFL-scores submitted to LSAC well before I submitted my application, so I am guessing my "case" is a bit different from those of you waiting for your TOEFL-result to reach LSAC/ Harvard.

I applied for a toefl waiver so the Comment 1 column only states something about my toefl waiver. It does not say anything about my application being completed....

By the way, from Harvard's email, reference will be deemed "completed" if the tracker says "recieved". Mine is still "submitted"... not sure if this means they have not received them.... My referees submitted their letters online.

Mine is still "submitted" as well... According to Embark, this means that HLS has not yet reviewed them.

"Submitted Status

Immediately after submitting, your recommendation may be set to the "Submitted" status. This means you have successfully completed the recommendation, but the institution has not yet reviewed your submission. This usually occurs because some institutions will wait for the submission of all application materials before reviewing any of the forms. If your recommendation is currently in the "Submitted" status and you need to revise it, please contact our support center at [email protected]
/* */ and we will be able to assist you.

Received Status

After the school downloads your recommendation from our servers, your recommendation will then be set to received status. Depending on the policies of the individual institutions, this process may take up to two weeks. Once your recommendation is in the "Received" status, you may not revise any portion of it without direct permission from the institution. Please contact that institution directly if you need to adjust the information on a "Recieved" recommendation."

On the "Track status" page it reads "No current status. Please check back later" next to all of the LoRs. However, under the "Recommandation"-tab the status column reads "Received" next to all LoRs.

Thanks! I assume that your application has been under reviewed then, as HLS downloaded your recommendations. If LoRs are submitted online, there won't be any status changes on the "Track status" page, but only under the "Recommendations" page.

Hope that the rest of us won't be penalized harshly :)

It's been weeks since I received my TOEFL score, but tracking my status it appears that it hasn't reached HLS yet. I'm starting to worry, since HLS might not receive them until January due to winter break. Anyone else having problems with their TOEFL report reaching HLS? Thanks
