Michaelcorleone, I received my second mail (first one for me) in early december, so it's been a really long time for me, sometimes I even forget I applied.

Ahhhhuu of course, just waiting for an offer we cannot refuse....

I have not received any mail confirming the receipt of my materials. Should I be concerned? I did not apply online, but well before the Nov. 15 deadline; am applying from south america....

Hi rgb!
I think you should contact HLS Admission Staff, since I´ve heard here that all of the "first e-mails" have been received.
I´m from South America, too. Would you mind telling us your country?
The e-mail of the HLS Admission Staff is: llmquery@law.harvard.edu

From Paraguay, you?. I sent my materials on Nov. 4, yet to receive any type of information form the school; what was the 1st mail about??
Not sure if I want to mail them now since I already did so early December, asking this same question jeje (I was concerned that my TOEFL had not been sent), and they hadn't replied.

rgb, you should try getting in touch with the admissions department just to be sure, I guessm since everyone got at least one email confirming the reception of material.
Where are you from by the way?

Finally got my "complete" e-mail yesterday! it was at least 3 weeks since I started enquirying on my application status. By the way, it seems universities enjoy to make me wait as long as possible, since I've yet to hear anything from UChicago. Besides, Cornell and UVA have released their first decisions, and -of course- I'm not among those lucky fellows which have been notified...All that said, the time I've spent waiting already cost me a spot at Duke...I'm definitively running out of patience...

christ-choice says HLS results are out on march 13?

Sorry to hear that you are STILL awaiting to hear from UChicago. On a side note, are you absolutely certain Cornell are releasing decisions in diferrent batches? I have not heard anything and my application is still "Completed". I know for a fact that some have received their offers but I am not sure if they are "first decisions" or merely in the order they are reviewing their files!
Cheers,
Greg
