I'm afraid March is the very earliest you will hear. My advice would be to try to focus on something else for now - there is nothing you can now that you've made your application. Of course I understand that is difficult - but you will drive yourself nuts thinking about something you cant change.

I am the only one that have not received HLS's second email?

I submit both the e-application an supporting documents in on early November, received the first email by mid. Nov.,

I have emailed an called them many times, but they said that there are many application and that I have nothing to be worried... but I am worried!!!

Anyone in the same situation?

don't worry, i haven't received the second "complete" email yet. in fact i haven't received columbia's "compelte" email yet. i also saw that harvard has not encashed the check that i sent them.

Hey i dnt know how HLS is working as there are ppl who have not received the second email and I have received it twice....yes I received the second email regarding Application Com[plete on December 16 and now again on January 16 the same email.....i guess there is no uniformity in their procedure......and i ahve emailed them many a times but no reply to specific queries have been received till date......all the best to all of you.....

I am truly disappointed by the way HLS is handling the applications. Like many of you i have not received the second email. My bank has also informed me that the school has not presented the bank draft for encashment. I sincerely hope that this process is not a reflection of the way things at HLS are ordinarily done. At this stage i am quickly losing interest in attending HLS. I would hate to receive similar treatment as a student there.

Guys Guys...no need to panic or form opinions...it is a very small number of applicant who interact on this blog, otherwise there are many many more. We should just take a chill and wait for the final email, admitting us....rest of the emails are just formalities and won't affect our status et all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any notice about the second email?

Some people say if you we by far have not received the second email, it means we are fine because the staff will now only contact those whose materials are incomplete! Hope this is true!!

I received an email this morning informing me that my application is incomplete. They wanted my bar exam results. It seems that if you have taken the bar exam in your country, HLS requires the results. The email also states that the committee is reviewing the available information.

Just received my 2nd email yesterday - was missing date of birth so it was incomplete. Told them my date of birth and now it is complete!

Am sure by the end of this month, everyone must be receiving the second mail.

HLS has spent so long time just revising the completeness of applications, I prefer not to imagine how long will be assessing applicant credentials.

i think it is a normal procedure unless you missed something or to keep us calm, reflecting they are working on it...
