Mine submitted either. to tell the whole truth, I've sent my application over 1 month ago, and I've already been asked to submit other documents, as my application file wasn't considered complete...anyway, wish you all the best of luck!

hey guys I have also submitted my application ofr Harvard, NYU and CLS......not applying to any other school...........all the best to all of u..........
@ Stagista11 wat all documents they have asked for....I mean wat have u defaulted to submit?????????.....
Dear All,
I have small confusion....though nothing can be done now as I hv already dispached my application.....the personal statement talks abt 2 parts and legal essay shd atleast be half (750 words) and rest is the personal background.....were we required to merge both of them....i mean I have written both things in continuation but have marked them as 'Part (a)' and 'Part (b)'.....was I right in doing that or were we expected to merge both of them and corelate both of them........plz Clarify......

They've asked me to re-send the recommendation letters on my behalf, 'cause they want to be sent directly by whom I asked to, while I included in my (paper) application package. Now my file is complete, so I'm trustfully waiting for them to make the final decision...as I think you all are doing!

Hey there!
I'm still finetuning my personal statement, but I have a practical question:
I am using the services of the LSAC and I filled this out on my application form (so they will collect the transcripts for me);
Harvard provides a 'transcript request form' as an additional document that needs to be filled out; it doesn't expressly say however that prospective student using the LSAC services are waived from this ..
Should I used not worry about that transcript request form and use my common sense that Harvard will retrieve them anyway?
thx for the help, this stuff is kinda stressing me out sometimes :)

Hello all,
Stagista do you have any idea why they are having your recomenders resend the recommendation letters? Was it not signed across the back flap or something like that??
I did not send my application materials yet, so I am thinking maybe I should ask my recommenders to send it directly to them in the first place in order not to face such request later on...

It was my fault honestly, 'cause I sent them printed copies of the letters I only had on pdf file...here most of the profs have never been requested to write a recommendation, so I thought they could undestand this culturale difference. anyway, now I got back to them asking to send letters directly to HLS...hope it helped. best of luck to all of you once again. hope to be able to patiently wait until late march (perhaps april)...

@EileenBe ......I dnt think u need to attch the transcript form if u r using the LSAC thing......now its their(LSAC) headache to place ur things in the right place..........to avoid any unexpected problem though I would suggest you to ask HLS ppl....their email ID is gpquery@law.harvard.edu
All d best.....
@applicant2009....knowing that some other person has done the same thing as I have done is a good relief......thanks for your reply and hurry up with ur NYU application....Since I have submitted the same I will be glad to help u with any procedural difficulty you might come across.......

Can somebody explain to me what's the point of this mid-deadline of November 15th anyway? Is it just a random date to make some pressure on the applicants to hurry up or does it have actual significance in the internal review process? Perhaps the first bunch of applications is put aside and gone through first and only then are the post-Nov. 15th applications considered?
Anyway, I submitted mine electronically yesterday but assume that my rec. letters and cert. letter will arrive shortly after this mysterious deadline.

@ applicant2009 I had just given wat was required.....i mean watever was essential to complete the application.....if u have any prominent rank certificates or anything which can outline ur brilliance, not otherwise depicted in the other application material, then u can provide that.....but i think watever they had asked is more than enough.......i hope u asked this thing only....if i misunderstood ur query, plz ask again...........all the best..............
@twelfthmonkey.......15 Nov. is the preferred date and they dnt review on first come first serve basis........but somehow i feel psychologically they might prefer those coming earlier than those coming later assuming other things being equal.......

Hey applicant2009!
Did you get my private message regarding the schools I am applying to?
Basically more or less the same as yours. Did you apply for financial aid?
cheers
