i'm from Pakistan. the said my third recommendation was missing even though all my application material was in one envelope. so i called them and they said it must have slipped out when they opened it. they told me to ask my recommender to email it soon and then to re-send the hard copy. apparently the applications will be read in the next two weeks.

Do you think this is relevant for LLM students as well:
"The Law Schools Office of Career Services announced that the school will invite firms to campus the last full week of August before classes begin, advancing the recruiting timeline by about a month. Traditionally, the Law Schools recruiting cycle began later than at comparable institutions, which hurt students last October when law firms reduced the number of spots reserved for Harvard recruits in light the impending recession.
Fly-out weekthe time when students visit firms who have expressed interest in themis now scheduled for the week of September 14, two weeks after the first day of classes. During that period, the school puts classes on hold for a week-long fall break."

Gregor,
just a short question. I also received the 2nd incomplete e-mail due to the non-submission of TOEFL score (In fact, I have attached the TOEFL waivor request letter with the application). I raised this waivor request again to HLS and they promoised to bring this request to the admission director.
From your case, I think I have to expect another e-mail from HLS to confirm the application completion.

Hey,
not sure about TOEFL, but i did receive a second e-mail after I provided them with my outstanding information. I was under the impression that TOEFL is handled separately but I am not sure! (I did not have to submit TOEFL results).
Maybe someone else on the board can help?
cheers,
Greg
