Hi Bcool..congrats..
Just wondering, how they confirmed your acceptance, is it through email?
Do you use the interview option with NU?
I applied for general llm there, all my documents are in but they still wait for my scheduled interview on 7 Jan.
Can't believe nothwestern has started sending their decisions.I'm so nervous rite now.

bCoool> They gave me an email saying that the decision was made and that I may view the letter on their web site. (Status Check)

bCoool> Unfortunately, I had to settle for a phone Interview due to my business trips.

bCoool> Don't worry too much about the invertiew. They won't bite. All the questions were pretty much general.

bCoool> Believe me when I say I know what you mean. It took 6 weeks, give or take a few days, after my application was complete for me to get the email. I know it must be tough, but hey... I was accepted and I'm pretty sure all of you have better and outstanding credentials. Hang in there.
FYI, I heard it helps to let the Admission's Committee know any update of your recent achievements and this is what I did. As long you are not brown nosing nor annoying, it doesn't hurt to contact them by email every other week to let them know that you are really serious about Northwestern not just out of anxiety but from sincere interest and intentions. Keep the emails simple, to the point and friendly.

I do not think NYU and Chicago make their decisions this early. The only thing I have received from both is the "complete application" email. They have all the information on their website regarding when admission decisions are made.

I agree, i have applied to NY and received the same message as 'application complete'. All of the colleges that i applied to have sent confirmation of application complete except UC Berkely....I am beginning to get a little worried about it. Has anyone else also faced the same problem with Berkely?

I was doing some research on admissions decisions release, and I found that last year Chicago admitted almost everyone close to the 20th of february.
As to Columbia, admissions decisions of regular cycle were sent out as early as the sixth of january and as late as early april.
The only guess now is rolling basis is supposed to mean first sent first evaluated (so we early admission deferreds will know first)?
And also, will Chicago anyhow anticipate its results due to the anticipation of its application deadline?

I applied to six schools including Berkeley and Chicago on the last days of application. I haven't heard anything from Berkeley and Chicago as to my application is complete, however both of them called my LSAC report which makes me feel comfortable.
By the way, I applied to NYU on the last day (December 1) and received e-mail that my application had been sent to admissions committee for review two weeks ago. Quite fast, isn't it?

I think I have the same problem with Berkeley. I got one email on Dec.19 indicating one missing document. I sent the document to them again and haven't got any further news so far.
BTW, I just got the completion comfirmation from SLS today. really slow process
