i can confirm it about Duke, I received an offer about a week or two ago..
concerning CLS, it seems that they started sending offers, that's what can be inferred from some threads...

laodeshu, may I ask you how did they contact you? by phone call or by mail? did they offer you some scholarship along with the call/mail? thank you very much

they sent me an email, which was actually quite personalised (referring precisely to my work experience, field of interest, etc.)
the email said the official letter of acceptance would follow. i haven't received it yet
unfortunately no scholarship.. but i think Duke doesn't really grant scholarships to international students (i may be wrong of course but that's what i understood from the website), unlike other schools...

thank you for this quick reply. as I keep repeating, I've just to wait and see what happens. I've never been a very patient though, so all this waiting is really boring me... with regard to scholarship issue, you must have a quite remarkable profile as they got back to you so early...but no scholarship at all is a bad sign...I won't consider duke without it...next master I'll undertake will be somewhere in the Hawaii or other tropical paradise...

@gg24 I applied for USC last year in early December and got admission notice on February 15th. Just as a rough orientation...

Did you attend USC? can you share your experience?

hey someone on this board has mentioned that applicants applying for Hauser scholarship for NYU get results in Feb......I have applied for NYU and NYU@NUS both and scholarships as well.......will they give me the result as per the deadline mentioned for NYU@NUS (i.e. December January) or as per NYU (March)?????????.....plz clarify.....

Brightest: From previous treads, I think that you will have notices form both NYU's programs on Dec. - Jan.

BTW, any news from UPenn?

Hello all... I was wondering that whether for the early review applications CLS will notify irrepsective of whether u r admitted or not...or is it that if I dont hear anything by dec end that means that I have not got admission... I am hoping they send some email whether with good news or bad news so that at least i know!.....any idea anyone???

Hi Mushroom: I've heard that they send, to every applicant, 3 kinds of notices (accepted, rejected or regular admissions); however, It would be interesting to know the ratio between rejected/regular admissions, since I was thinking that, if you are not an "horrible" applicant, instead of reject you early, they would defear your application, just in case.

I wonder too twelfth monkey......the only sources of info i have is you guys on the llm guide boards.....but its good at least we know the results have started coming out......but its very stressful........i have just checking my mail account day n night.....i'll go mad if 2-3 more applicants confirm their acceptance............but waiting is still better than rejection.......oh god........

I was checking the last year board posts.....the trend was like this....

they admitted brazilians first (3 of them)...then a european and then few others....in total there were 12-15 applicants accepted via early review (those who acknowldged on llm guide board)......but i dnt think they take more than 25 or so.........but cant say.....if many ppl have good credentials +/- 5 wont harm them.......lets see......its good u reminded its saturday and they'll not be reviewing today......now atleast i can breathe easily for 2 days (today and tomorrow)...........where are you from.........are u luckily a brazilian?????

I am from India.........it hardly matters....if you have good credentials, nationality would not be a bar, i SUPPOSE.........lolz....it is so subjective..........i mean how they'll start reviewing....whom they'll inform first......present situation is still better coz none on this board post have confirmed their acceptance.....once it starts coming, every minute would be killing......i ahev only applied top CLS, HLS and NYU....wat abt you???????
