LLM UCL / KCL / LSE / QMUL 2018-19

Here's a huge congrats to everyone who received an offer from LSE! This truly is cause for celebration. I've just recently been admitted myself and was wondering if the thread for new LSE LLM students was created (I've read someone's comment already suggesting the same somewhere on this board posts ). If there is a group, would you kindly let me know? Would be nice to get in touch with other successful applicants. :)
Thank you!

No, it won't change. I received an offer last week and my status on the portal is still "submitted". Only my application status on "Application Overview" changed.

Thank you very much.

Hey guys.
I would REALLY appreciate to inform me about the word limit for the personal statement.
I have my ps ready for kings and it is 1 page and a half. Is that okay or should it be 4,000 characters?
I was calling the admissions office but its closed until further notice so I if you could please help me let me know!
Thanks:)

Hi guys, ı applied for KCL and my application status on the portal is still shown as 'submitted'. Will this change to 'under consideration' or anything else? I already e-mailed them but no answer so far.
Thank you in advance

Hi guys, ı have a question regarding deposit fee for KCL and UCL. If we receive an offer conditional upon language test, are we still required to pay the deposit within one month? What is their policy on this deposit fee?
Thanks in advance.

Hi! I assume it will be ok. I used Times New Roman 14pt and 1,5 interval, it was almost 2 pages and it was 3 980 characters (with spaces) and approx 3 350 (without spaces). Of more importance is the content rather than the volume though. Good luck :)

I just applied to UCL today, does anyone who applied recently know what kind of time frame they reply in? thanks

I applied on the 22nd of February, my application became complete on the 26th of February and I have yet to hear from them.

I did notice, however, that they have brought the closing date forward to the 27th of March, therefore I think it is safe to assume that they have been inundated with applications and may take more than the "approximate" six weeks to respond to applications.

Hi guys! I submitted my LSE application 7 weeks ago but it is still not showing that they have received my transcript. I will be unable to contact them now until next week because they are closed for Easter. Has something similar happened to anyone else? Thanks!

Has anyone managed to pay the UCL deposit? I just tried to and it tells me "A Financial Deposit is not required or is not yet due". Do I have to wait until Sunday?

Hey,
You need to accept the offer first. So click on the offer page and accept it and then go back and try paying again.

Hello guys,

Do you know any scholarships available to study the LLM at at LSE or KCL?

Depending on where you're from, Chevening may be an option. However, you're too late for the 2018-2019 academic year.

I just applied to UCL today, does anyone who applied recently know what kind of time frame they reply in? thanks

For e.g. I applied on the 28th of march (meaning both my references were accepted - that's when your application is taken into consideration) and I just got an offer yesterday so it took them approx 5 weeks! Hope this helps :)

Hey thanks for letting me know! It’s such a painfully wait isn’t it
28th of March, wouldn’t that make it 1 week?
Mine was complete on the 27th March :)

I applied to UCL on march 13 and KCL on march 16. I got an e-mail from KCL on Monday saying they did not accept me. However, yesterday i got an offer from UCL. It only took 3 weeks. I am going to start looking for accomodation close UCL. Any tips? Does anyone know where could I look for roomates to share a flat?

Good luck to everyone
