Our statuses have not even changed to "Degree Committee" yet. After that there's GAO. The wait is difficult. But at least I won't spend my weekend refreshing my email and Applicant Portal (assuming they won't send out offers / rejections) on Saturday night.

According to last year's thread, rejections were typically updated on the portal before being sent by email.

From what I gathered after reading last years thread was that any and all notifications were sent via mail to the applicants and not updated on the portal till a later stage.

hey guys, new here. Found this info on the Cambridge LLM Website:

"All Cambridge LLM application decisions will be made by 1 March 2019 for the 2019-2020 programme. However, it may take further time before you receive notification. Applicants will be notified of the decision relating to their application via their self service account by the Graduate Admissions Office. The outcome of your application will be available on your online self-service page. If your application is successful, you will also receive a formal offer notification from the GAO by email. If your application is not successful, you will learn about this decision first on your online self-service page. The GAO will also notify you by email. The Law Faculty does not contact unsuccessful applicants."

My MCL application status just changed to "Awaiting approval by GAO - Awaiting approval by the Central Graduate Admissions Office"- whatever that means.

LLM application still the same: "Under review".

Nope! Let's hope that we'll be done with this by the end of next week and that they won't keep us waiting until the 1st of March.

For what it is worth, my LLM application status has changed to "Awaiting approval by GAO", which probably happened on Friday (assuming they have not been working weekends). So it looks like they have started to progress some LLM applications. Best of luck to all!

Great to hear that the wait is almost over! Have any of you heard of them handing out rejections? And from past years’ practice, do we know if they send out acceptances first and then rejections, or is it the other way around?

Has onyone else's status been updated? Mine is still the same. And I thought that positive result was going to come through e-mail, people said.

The movement from Department to Committee to GAO--as what Nameless reported--will NOT be updated via email. That only appears in the portal. ONLY final decisions--whether favorable or not--are communicated via email. Also, while the decision will definitely come through e-mail, nothing prevents the GAO from updating our portals at the same time.
