Heard from a friend that is currently a LLM candidate that there will be a faculty meeting tomorrow. I guess we'll be hearing from them shortly.

Does anybody have any information on how the Brexit would affect tuition fees for EU nationals?
This is available on their website: "The Education Secretary confirmed on 2 July 2018 that: 'students from the European Union starting courses in England in the 2019/20 academic year will continue to be eligible for home fee status’. This announcement, along with the announcements made in October 2016 and April 2017, allows the University of Cambridge to confirm that the fee for postgraduate EU students who will start their studies in 2018 or 2019, will be at the applicable Home/EU rate for the duration of their course."

Today is Friday. If we don't hear anything today, do you think we will get to know about the decisions only on Monday? I am assuming that Cambridge would not be working on the weekend.

That's hard to tell. It does appear from the GAO website that the office is closed on weekends and is open only from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays -- https://www.graduate.study.cam.ac.uk/other-ways-contact-us
Last year, however, I received my offer of admission from Cambridge at 6:00 p.m. on a Thursday. Unless that was an auto-generated email, it means the office staff can work extended hours.

Has anyone's status changed from "Under review by the department"? Mine is still the same.

I know that people have not began to receive offers yet but of curiosity, do we know of any rejections?
Posted Feb 15, 2019 12:43
Yes, someone posted about a rejection around a week ago in this thread!
My status also hasn’t changed so far

Same.

Mine's still "under review by the department" too. Does anyone know when people started getting offers last year?
Posted Feb 15, 2019 13:07
February 5 or 6.

Yes. Someone did say that but I find it hard to believe since it’s been over a week and haven’t heard of a single rejection thereafter.
