In conjunction with the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Vanderbilt Law School offers this $30,000 scholarship for a student who has received, or will receive, a degree in law from PUC-Rio. There is no separate application for this scholarship; admitted applicants from PUC-Rio will be considered on the basis of their applications for admission to the LL.M. program. Recipients will have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement and/or professional experience in law. A research position working under the supervision of Professor Randall Thomas, Director, Vanderbilt Law & Business Program, will be offered to a scholarship recipient demonstrating a high level of academic achievement and/or professional experience in the corporate law area.
