Hello everyone,
does Stanford offer the possibility to negotiate the tuition or is the Knight-Hennesy Scholarship the only way to recieve some kind of financial aid from the school?
Please feel free to share your experience, especially SLS alumi (that would be much appreciated). Thanks!

In my experience, the US is generally the country where negotiability of tuition and other costs is sort of an acceptable and common practice.
For instance, it is reported that about a quarter of admitted college students and their families ask for more funding, and about half of them succeed.
I have negotiated both a grant that I got from Harvard Law School and a grant that I got from an American foundation that funded my living expenses while I was doing my LLM at Harvard.
Full disclaimer: I did not apply to Stanford, but based on what I know about schools in the US, it should be possible.
A caveat, however, is that the higher ranked the school is, the less willing it will be to negotiate. This simply has to do with the fact that they can always admit someone who is just as highly qualified but also has the means to pay.
I've created two extensive guides on how to fund an LLM and how to negotiate financial aid, both linked in my profile.
Hope it helps and good luck!
