Below is a list of application deadlines for LL.M. programs at 50 US law schools beginning in Fall 2014. The law schools listed below were chosen based on the most-viewed US profiles on LLM GUIDE.

Foreign Credential Applicants: December 16
Domestic Credential Applicants: April 1 (except for following programs)
LL.M. in Legal Theory: January 31
LL.M. in Taxation: January 31 (priority scholarship deadline); April 1 (final)
Part-time programs:  June 2

UC Berkeley - January 10

Georgetown -
Foreign-Trained Attorneys: November 14 (early action); February 14 (regular action)
US-Trained Attorneys: January 6 (early action); February 28 (regular action)
Scholarship consideration:  February 14

Columbia - November 1 (early review); December 17 (regular deadline)

Harvard - December 1; November 15 strongly encouraged

UCLA - February 15

Stanford - December 6

BU -
American Law LL.M. and IP Law LL.M.: April 15; earlier encouraged
Taxation LL.M. and Banking & Financial Law LL.M.: April 15 (international applicants) or July 31 (domestic applicants) for Fall enrollment

USC - February 1    

Miami - Rolling until July 31; Feb 3 recommended; January 10 optimal for scholarship consideration

Taxation LL.M. – February 1 (international); July 1 (domestic)

Pepperdine – Rolling Applications; Deadlines are 4 months before each starting term (mid August, January and late May).

Chicago - December 15; Applications considered in order completed.

Boston College - April 1; Admissions begin in January, so early application is encouraged

Michigan - end of January

Emory -  April 15 (early); May 31 (final)

Vanderbilt - April 30

Penn State - Rolling

Loyola (Los Angeles) - February 1 (international); June 30 (domestic)
