@ scholar thanks a million for your deatiled advice.......Well money is of course an issue since foregoing 35US$ is pretty tough......and i am not planning to work in USA after LLM and would probably work in India, which is my home country, so I probably will opt for nyu@nus.......thank you so much.....and i think i shd write to hls and cls but i have dull hopes that they'll give me any good answer so early.....

Hey thanks dk-mani but trust me that dis early admission has nothing to do wid impressive credentials...i mean the results for nyu@nus were supposed to be out by december end only......and since u have applied only for NYU and not nyu@nus, u'll get a reply little late....this is procedural delay....anyways thanks and all d best........

Got my confirmation yesterday from NYU it is complete now.

When did you apply for NYU? i got confirmation on 27/11/08.

I applied on Dec 1 (last day) and I got confirmation yesterday.

Even I have received the confirmation yesterday....

I believe decisions to be out in 2-3 weeks now....

NYU sent me the long-waited 'complete application' e-mail yesterday... Applied to the Intl. Tax LL.M.

Only HLS has not confirmed the completeness of my app. yet (perhaps bcoz mine was 'Paper-Based'). The other 6 schools for which I applied already confirmed: Yls, Sls, Berkeley, UMich, UPenn, and, now, NYU.

I have received an e-mail confirmation after a waiting of 1 month and 23 days...so keep the faith...the more difficult still to come.

I might be holding a record ! I just received my confirmation e-mail nearly 3 months after sending my materials !

Just so you know, for those of you still waiting (don't know if there are that many...), I suggest you call NYU. That's what I did last Monday, and the "graduate admissions guy" told me by phone that my application was complete, and that I should be receiving an e-mail shortly...
