Im awaiting my deadline (February, 15th) get closer in order to made the initial deposit, I believe I dont have any other choice.
Unless I receive a response from other university, which I think wont happen until late February...

Hi Mr. Finch, I have done nothing, to be honest. I asked for a deadline extension, but they did not respond to it yet.

It is possible that UVa's offer is not good anymore in my case, since I have not made the deposit. They asked for two deposits, one in Jan-15 and other on Feb-15...I applied to a number of programs and I figured that I would not receive many answers by Feb-15 so I decided not to make the deposits.

I only did this because Duke also made me an offer and they gave me an extension, so I have at least one place granted. If not for this, I would have made the deposits to UVa, no doubt.

Did anybody pay the acceptance fee? Last week I talked to the dean responsible for admissions at UVA during the job fair in NY and the conversation was very good.

The corporate program at UVA seems to be great and they offer all the subjects that are required by the NY BAR. Also, living expenses in Cville are very cheap and the university's life is great!

I am concerned because I was admitted also to UPenn and UPenn offers the Wharton program. However, I think UVA is the chepeast choice among the top-10.

I don't know! This is a very hard decision! Both schools are great and also they are both located in two amazing cities. I have friends that are studying in both schools and they are loving their experience.

I applied! I finished my application ON Feb 1st, just a few minutes before midnight and submitted it :-). Living on the edge -- it happens when you have children.

I went down to Charlottesville, met with the associate Dean who is lovely! Hopefully, I will get in.

Admitted on December 15th. However Im still waiting for other schools to respond. What do you think about UVA vs. Northwesterns LLMK?

MexLLM2013, excellent question! Until now I was admitted to UVA and Northwestern LLMK and I dont know which one to choose... The tuition for LLMK is much more expensive (USD 72).
