Hi guys!
Did anybody pay the acceptance fee? Last week I talked to the dean responsible for admissions at UVA during the job fair in NY and the conversation was very good.
The corporate program at UVA seems to be great and they offer all the subjects that are required by the NY BAR. Also, living expenses in Cville are very cheap and the university's life is great!
I am concerned because I was admitted also to UPenn and UPenn offers the Wharton program. However, I think UVA is the chepeast choice among the top-10.
Does anybody is in the same situation as mine?
I was admitted to UVA and CLS and, between those two, I will probably choose CLS, even though the costs are waaaay higher (and I will do so because of ranking, number of admitted students, city, etc). Between UPenn and UVA, I would probably choose UPenn because of the Wharton certificate, which I think is very unique (and there is also the plus of being an Ivy School). Actually, UPenn is one of my top choices and I am still hoping to be admitted. Any of these programs are pretty expensive, so I will just go with the best fit for me, unless one of my top schools offers me a scholarship or something like that. I dont think the price difference between UVA and Upenn "compensates" the upsides of the Wharton certificate + Ivy.
Are you still waiting for other schools decisions?
