Checked UVA's site. They do make admission offers on rolling basis even before Feb 1st. I think I might apply...

Me too. I was planing to apply only after CLS's early decisions (in the case I was not accepted)..

Virginia Law follows a "rolling admissions" policy, so offers of admission may be made before February 1, and there is some advantage in applying early. Admissions decisions continue through April.

I am Brazilian, I have a degree in law from one of the best universities in Brazil and a specialization in corporate law. I have also a degree in international relations. I have 6 years of practise in one of the largest law firms in Brazil and now I am working as an international associate in NYC.

I applied in the beggining of October.

I have applied to Upenn, CLS, NYU and Stanford...

But I am very happy with the offer I got from UVA. I went to Charlottesville and UVA's campus is great. Also, my offer expires on January 15th, 2013. Therefore, I dont know if I will have time to wait for the other results.

I got my admission today!

I finished my application on Nov. 17. They were pretty fast.

Nice feeling - for sure! - but I applied to some other programs as well, so I will wait to see what happens next. And my offer also expires on Jan. 15...

Wow, Jan 15? You wont have heard from most schools by then... this is really unfair, specially considering that UVA's application term is Feb 1.

Yeah...I thought so too. But I think I will wait a few days and then ask for an extension of this deadline.
