MexLLM2013, excellent question! Until now I was admitted to UVA and Northwestern LLMK and I dont know which one to choose... The tuition for LLMK is much more expensive (USD 72).

By the way, I have until Friday to either accept UVAs offer or decline it. I have already asked and been granted with 3 extensions.

Hi dear everyone. I just received the admission to UVA and my deadline is March 31, 2013.
I still have not decided whether to join it but it's really exciting. I know this school is really nice.

Freya-E you denitely have to join! It's no doubt one of the best law school in the states and CVille looks like one good city to live also!

If I have no offer from CLS, I think I would join in. I prefer kind of lively life, in some big cities and... lots of peers around me:)

I got my completion email in early feb saying that I will be notified the decision no later than March 15th. Do your completion emails stated the same? It's almost the 15th and they're still quiet..

I JUST called and spoke to the Dean of admissions. My deadline (for a yes, maybe or no) was today. I submitted my application at the DEAD LINE -- like two minutes before midnight (living on the edge I guess).
She told me that due to the MASSIVE volume of HIGHLY qualified applicants that I would know by later this evening (unlikely) or Monday by the latest.
Not good news for me I think!!!

What are your qualifications? Where are you from etc?
I was evaluated by LSAC as "above average" ...top 20%.
I DON'T have tons of "amazing" legal experience like some people on this board allegedly do. I'm a Dominican/American mom who went to law school in England because it was WAY cheaper than to do it in the States. I don't like debt.
My extra curricula activities are things like helping raise money for the poor and needy. I think a legal career is hollow if it does not contain that crucial aspect of public service.
Just my two cents ;-)

I really hope that you get in :-). This is a really stressful process and I've kind of taken on the attitude of : Eh, meh, whatever!
As I mentioned, I am an extremely *ordinary* person without any glamorous experience but I believe that ordinary people are capable of extraordinary things so I wouldn't just give up on myself just yet.
At the end of the day, you/we still have other options (Thank God for capitalism!). Some People think that the schools are doing them a favour but really, you are paying them handsomely for that favour! If they won't have you, another school will be delighted to!
I'm saying a prayer for you to get in. :-)

Nothing from them...
UVA is my top choice, while I received the admission letters from Michigan and NYU.
But, I have completely lost my hope because they have never replied to my emails.
