Congrats!

I am unfortunately still waiting for a response. I notice a trend with NYU that admissions are given first and then rejections. Cannot help but realise that "no news is bad news"

Hey, guys... I have this doubt... I'd like to know if every admission letter is the same. For those who have already been admitted, can you give me a insight? Here goes an excerpt of the letter I received from NYU:

Congratulations! Welcome to the LL.M. Class of 2012. I am very pleased to offer you admission to the Graduate
Division of New York University School of Law as a candidate for the Master of Laws in the full-time International
Business Regulation Litigation and Arbitration program for the Fall 2011 semester.
You were chosen from a group of highly-talented applicants, among the most competitive in our history. With your
outstanding academic record and professional and personal achievements, you have earned this opportunity to learn
from our extraordinary faculty, whose scholarship and expertise influence every aspect of legal thought and practice.

Thanks in advance for those answering my question...

Hi guys, I was admitted yesterday as well to the International Tax Program, no scholarship though
I know from the posts that someone was wondering about the admissions to this specific program.
best of luck to all of you waiting admission decisions

Congrats! I applied for International Tax as well. No deicision yet. Could you please share your background- class rank, country, work experience, etc?

Hi shw india
sorry to revert so late,
To address your question, originally from Venezuela, currently living and working in Panama, I graduated top 3% of my class in law school and top 1% in first masters, been working in a Big 4 for the past 6 years with both individuals expatriates and corporate planning in the international tax services line.
good luck on your admissions decision!
