What a way to find out! Why doesnt HLS have such a system - they are still living in the paper-application age

I got my admittance letter from NYU yesterday by UPS...but, I also received an admittance email from Columbia...I think I will choose CLS.

For those that are still waiting for a response, don't lose hopes !!!!

Are there any recent news on rejections and admissions from NY? Rejections in particular.
Or I'm left alone waiting without any result?

I had an experience identical to masteroflaws2007. I checked the admitted students web site last Friday and was able to log in. I have not received anything in the mail yet (or email), but am hopeful that it is en route and my ability to log in was not just a technical fluke in the web site. Best of luck to everyone.

As for me, it didn't work.
I made them a call and was told that the application is under review! Wow!

I was rejected today... Regular mail.

i have not received any mail and cannot enter the admitted students site..does this mean I am out?

Hi Savece,

I live in NYC. I sent in my application on 1st Dec and only received the acceptance package on March 19 by UPS. Don't worry, I havent heard back from other schools that I applied to like Chicago or Cornell. NYU said that they will continue mailing out acceptances till 1 April, so you still have time.

Is the April 1 deadline for acceptances for foreign students only or for domestic students too?
