I have been waiting for the result of my application to NYU LLM to come, but then I decided to just call to ask for it. Surprisingly enough, I was just asked for my name (last+ first) and then I was told that my application is still under review. They said that some applications indeed are reviewed earlier so their decisions are therefore sent out earlier. I hope what I was told was true, and keep fingers crossed for my application.
NYU results are out!

nccu2007, did they notice any approximate terms when they are going mail other admission letters or just make the rest decisions?

I couldn't resist temptation and gave the admissions office a call too! I was told, mine application is atill under review. They also told me, that the decisions will be sent no later than by mid-April, and that they're using no particular carrier. So don't waste time (like me) staring out of the window looking for the UPS vehicle, it might as well be FedEx!

By mid-april.... smart time.
In very deed, now it's useless to wait for UPS.

Well, I asked a general question and thus got a general answer in return...he (the person at admissions office) could have meant foreign however, because he could see that i'm a foreigner from my file

Cool, thanks. Maybe I will give them a call also.

I have just received an offer today!!
I am from Brazil and I applied for general studies. My girlfriend also received last thursday an offer for the international taxing program. I applied to HLS, Columbia, NYU and Berkeley, and I am still waiting for the others Universities.

This thread is quickly tailing "New Yorker's" dream: "NYU General (and hopefully most popular) Notice Board"

Yes, i posted the same question yesterday in the "NYU General Notice Board" , and a couple of people replied saying that they have gotten an acceptance letter already and they were foreigners living in the US

Hi,
Am from India. I was given an e-mail admission offer in January. I was told by the admissions office that they will send out the admission material "on or about April 1, 2007". DO I need to get in touch with them now and find out the status?

has any applicant living in NYC got news from NYU lately? I called the office on Monday and I was told that a letter was sent to me last week. They didn't want to tell me what currier they used. I think it was sent by regular first class mail. They didn't tell me the final decision either. So, I am still waiting for that mail.....
