I am in for NYU...heard last week via post.

Last week I received the package with an offer to the LLM. International Taxation Program at NYU! Does anybody here applied to this program?

I also applied to the LLM International Tax for Foreign Students, but have not heard anything yet.

From where are you TMS? I am from Mexico and still waiting.

Did you receive any e-mail confirming or just by regular mail?

Hi Jamie...I didn't receive any e-mail, just the letter with documents and two CD-ROM. Maybe you should try call them.
I'm from Brazil.

I applied for the ITP as well. Haven't heard anything yet.

I am out... Got the answer today via regular mail. It is stamped from the 9 th of March but is dated from the 2nd of March.

I am sorry to hear that...I am still waiting for an answer, but no hopes at this point. Tell me, did they state the reason of the rejection? What do you think? Thank you.

Has anybody received any acceptance letters from NYU this week? I get the feeling they stopped making admissions decisions and are focused on rejections only.

i wouldn't worry so much. someone from my school didn't hear until june last year (domestic JD applicant).

here is the content of the mail:

we hope you will understand that this decision is a reflection of the strength of our applicant pool. we receive many more applications for admission than we can accomodate each year.

So nothing very special, this is the usual polite answer

Guys, I have a friend that received her admission this week on March 13th so keep your hopes.

I just got the package from NYU and CLS that I was admitted so that means that they are still sending letters of admittance

Hi, Monica: Are you a NYC resident? when did you apply? When did you receive the notification that your application was complete? Did you receive the admission package by UPS or via ordinary mail? I am sorry to bother you with these questions, but I am a little concern because I haven't received any response from CLS/NYU yet. I would appreciate any info you can provide me.

Thoughman, I am not a NYC resident. I have been working here for 3 years and a half but do not have the residency. I am from Argentina. I applied to NYU on November 30 and Columbia December 13th. I could not take the toefl until December 9 and I have the scores by the begining of January. I got an e-mail from both Univ. on February 7th saying that my application was complete. In the case of CLS you will first receive an e-mail and then the package. NYU sent you the package directly.
You do not bother me at all, ask me whatever you wanna know. I was in your position and you cannot help but beign anxious. What I know is that at NYU are still reviewing applications so do not lose hope.

Strange thing just happened - I am very happy though

I tried the NYU Admitted Students site - with the Admissions Id No & my birth date & I managed to log in to discover that I have been admitted!

I have received no courier/mail/email communication what so ever from NYU. So guys for those waiting with a baited breath there is hope. Dont worry just try the admitted students website with that Admsn id no (startg with 8) and yr birthday
