A little bit hopeless, though. I believe that there are very few or no places remaining. I applied for International Taxation.

Same here, have any part time applicants heard anything one way or the other?

Hi Guys,

I have recd my decision a couple of days ago which read as follows:

"The Committee on Graduate Admissions has carefully considered your application. I regret to inform you that the Committee is unable to offer you admission to the Graduate Division at the Law School.

We hope you will understand that this decision is a reflection of the strength of our applicant pool, rather than the result of a possible weakness in your application. We receive many more applications for admission than we can accommodate each year, and, inevitably, we must turn away many accomplished applicants simply for lack of space in our program.

Please accept our very best wishes for success in your future academic and professional plans. We genuinely appreciate your interest in New York University School of Law".

It feels like a heavy weight is off my shoulders with the wait for the decision.

To all those who are admitted and enrolling here is wishing you the best in Life. I have decided to enrol at Georgetown now, Anyone going there?

Ciao..

There is a specific thread for Hauser Scholarships. Only one person replied having received confirmation. Others have received Dean's Merit Awards.

I received the Dean's Award too. Read in last year's posts that one person was offered Hauser after being offered Vanderbilt. So still being optimistic!

@the will of wire:
My decision still depends on many factors, but particularly from a financial point of view it is quite likely that I will enroll at NYU.

Why would you choose Michigan instead of NYU? I'm asking because I am doing that and I wanna see a different perspective.

Basically, as a combination of smaller size of the program & classes, notable alumni and financial help.

Both universities are without any doubt excellent academic institutions with strong international reputation, so that was not a deal breaker.

I think you cannot go wrong with any of the T-14, the choice (IMHO) comes down to question of how does certain program and overall "personality" of the school fit you. I also had to take finance into account and determine whether certain picks would be worth extra money.

Good luck anywhere you go, I'm sure it will be awesome :)
