does NYC ask for TOEFL scores for Indian students who have completed their schooling in English and the medium of language of degree is English?

Yess. You don't only have to obtain your degree from a university with an English medium, but also it has to be in one of the listed countries ( where English is the native language). But also I'd advise checking their TOEFL waiver cases or emailing them.

Good luck!

I'm Zaytoen from South Africa. I've applied to NYU for the Competition LLM. Has anyone else applied for that specific LLM?

Hi, everyone.

I'm Christina from Indonesia. I plan to apply for LL.M in Competition, Innovation and Information Law as well, like Zaytoen. However, this is my second time applying as my application was rejected last year due to overcapacity reason. It's kind of a challenge to update my personal statement with the 500-word limitation, not to mention re-request the recommendation letters.

Does anyone have the same situation as mine? I mean, reapplying to NYU.

Hi,

I'm applying to NYU this year. I'm a bit confused between LLM in International Tax and LLM in Taxation. Can international students apply for an LLM in Taxation? Does anyone know if one is significantly advantageous over the other in terms of seeking employment in the US?

I've attended a meeting last week with a woman that works in Postgraduate admission in NYU and she said that it's not really a 500 word limit, its just that they dont want the PS to be longer than two pages. If you write a 700 word PS it's fine.

I've heard that Georgetown offers a much better program for environmental law than NYU, but they offer less tuition waivers...

700 words will be more convenient. Is there a web source we can cross check this information with by any chance?

I'm also applying to NYU for '17-'18.
