Do you know about anyone who was accepted to the program?
I wonder if they announce the decisions only for some of the programs

Nah… but I saw from their website that all streams are assessed simultaneously. I wonder whether it will make any difference in terms of the release of decisions?

Same program and still waiting, but probably because I was notified by LSAC of a missing document only on the 23rd, and have had to scramble to get it sent across. NYU declined to accept a partial report so I need to wait for that to be sent over :/

Not me! Still waiting :/

Hi all! I applied on the 20th and received the first email from NYU (with login details etc) on the 21st. I still haven't received the second info saying that my application has been completed. Anyone else in the same position?

Also, my online tracker doesn't indicate whether my personal statement was received or not. It only mentions the LoRs, toefl score and my transcripts. Does anyone's tracker mention their personal statement? Please help!

Hi, I still have not received the completion email. I applied on the 20th of December. Anyone else facing this issue?

Hi, I faced a similar issue. I had not received NYU's completion email even though they had received everything. I sent them an email, and the following day I received the completion email. I suggest sending them an email and asking whether they have an questions or if any documents/information is outstanding. Best of luck!

I don't think they release results in one-go. See below:

"Decisions begin to be released in January and continue to be sent through June. Many foreign-trained lawyers hear by April, and typically all by May. Most applicants with a US JD receive decisions by May, latest early June.If you applied to our scholarship programs, we’ll inform you of a decision after you’ve learned of your admission to the program and before we ask you to respond to our offer." But, still my application should have been marked complete, no?

I’m slightly concerned about an opposite issue - getting my completion email too early  I applied on the deadline and got my “completion” email only a few hours later, then a few hours after that I got an email to say that my application had been “received”  and provided portal log in details.

anyone else have this strange order of events ?

Hi guys! Congratulations to all those who have been accepted. Has anyone from the ILS program heard yet? I had applied on 18 Dec and got the completion mail on 15 Jan. Still waiting to hear back though.

Congratulations to everyone that got in! I am a re-applicant and I sent in my application few minutes to the deadline. Has any re-applicant received an offer?

I think it is very unlikely that we will hear anymore from NYU this week guys, for all of those who are still waiting for a response. It seems that they use to release certain amount of decisions once a week.

Has anyone been accepted to the tax LLM program?

Which one do you mean, the LLM in Taxation or the LLM in International Taxation? For what I have seen from past threads, admitted students to the LLM in Taxation usually receive their responses in the second-third batch, while students admitted to the International Taxation program are usually the very last to hear news about the outcome of their applications, starting to receive answers on the second week of February.

Idk whether this trend will keep the same this year.

Hi everyone. I am from Peru. I received admittance yesterday, but I consider that if you didn't it doesn´t mean anything negative. A friend of mine who has a profile very similar to mine, but better academic and professional credentials is still waiting for the response. He graduated 2 years before me (I am 25), from the same law school, and we even did our internships at the same law firm and ended up graduating from our respective classes in 10th place. During one semester, he got the 1st place in the entire law school made up of around 1200 students (my record was 22nd) and professionally he has had much better job positions than me. From what is possible to compare (which excludes recommendations and personal statements), as far as I know, I think my profile is only better than his on my TOEFL (107 Vs. 102) and a very interesting extra curricular (university taekwondo selection captain during 5 years and taekwondo national team member in 2019, in my case). There is no sense in thinking that he will not receive admission. Well, best wishes and keep positive.
