Hi, I wrote them an email to check, and they confirmed that footnotes and citations do not count towards the word limit.

Hello!
According to the website "Decisions begin to be released in January and continue to be sent through June. Many foreign-trained lawyers hear by April, and typically all by May. Most applicants with a US JD receive decisions by May, latest early June."

I just read the discussions for last year's application and apparently the first wave of admissions happened on January 29, if I'm not mistaken. So we should expect to hear back from them starting in the end of january. Good luck!

Hello! From what I read of the last years threads some people notice changes before the decision, some people don't. There were many theories about it. I think it's safer just to wait for the email. Good luck!

Upon the submission of our application, we receive two emails: the initial one confirming the commencement of application processing, and a subsequent email indicating that our application is currently undergoing review. Hope this clarifies your doubt
