the fact that none of us have received second confirmation makes it a bit clear that we can wait without taking too much tension on our mind.

1) I havent received the second email neither. I submitt my app a month and a half ago and received the first email 2 weeks from then, by mid Nov.

2) It's true that HLS clerks doesn't answer emails, or they ansewer them very late and without answer... However, I understand that they have a lot of work, and, repplying emails (and I think that most of them could by easily answered by the applicants if they search on the website, or, are emails that are asking the app status), will only delat the admission process, so I think that the best way to speed the process is to not answer (or only answer doing a copy paste) emails and phine calls.

I do not have any hope in this application, but wish you the best luck to you all!

I have not been following this post and since there is a huge thread I have not read through the entire chain...however relating to emails from Harvard I had received an email on Oct 21 stating that my application was being reviewed etc. etc. with a lot of details. Yesterday I got an email from them again stating that they have reviewed my file and its complete and again similar details as in the first email. I dont know if you guys are talking about this email and if not I apologise for my mistake. But I was quite taken aback when i saw this email as I did not know that perhaps this second email was expected. But the contents of this email is similar to the first one except that they have determined that my application is complete. However they have again said that they may call upon for further information or documents if required.

Hey Guys....I have submitted my application on the last day, received my first mail within two days and since then...have been waiting.
The HLS guys are promt but may be only to those queries which they think needs to be addressed so.For rest, they make people wait.

Yeah very true....I had proof read the application for some 10000000000000000 times....and still mistakes are there.

hey guys i have got a second email from HLS saying that my application is complete but it also states that result for toefl waiver will be sent in a separate email.....so i'm waiting for the toefl waiver now......

Yes that is the infamous 2nd email. Glad to hear you guys got it. Still waiting for mine. On a positive note, i got my acceptance letter from Georgetown today.

I applied to Berkley, SLS, NYU, CLS, HLS either... and I got the "complete email" from all of them except HLS of course ;)

yeah well I actually also applied to the UofMinnesota, as I was there as a foreign exchange student, and I am hoping for this one, cause I just love it there and the law school is great too. But we will see.

Yes, it is a relief that you've got all those confirmations, I applied on December 1st, so I am waiting to get such confirmations e-mails, the same as Scholar, I hope such confirmations arrive before Xmas and New Year =)

I am from Chile, and my first option is Berkeley. Also I applied to HLS, NYU and UCLA.

Submitted my app on Nov 1, received the first email around Nov 17 and haven't receive anything more :(

I am from Turkey. I plan to apply to three more, ucla, usc and cornell but I am waiting for their deadlines to arrive so that I can submit their applications on the last day and suffer more awaiting their "application complete"s :p
