Maybe I am not understanding well. If you have paid the $75 fee when you submitted your electronic app via Lsac, you should pay another $75 once you receive the second email?
Thanks!
Thanks!

No Jenny, I don't think so.
You are only suppose to deposit the fee once. The mails are the updates on your application.
I have not used the LSAC services therefore not sure abt it. Did u paid 75$ against Harvard application fee or for using LSAC???

Hey any idea how CLS admits students???

Hi Legal-Eagle. Besides the $185 that I paid to the Lsac to analize my transcprits (and it was a big mistake!) I had to paid another $75 for using HLS electronic applicatopn system, that is powered by the Lsac as well.

Hi Jenny.....then i don't think so u need to pay anything more than that. I have paid it directly to Harvard through credit card. As long as you have the harvard generated acknowledgment of the receipt, need not to worry.

Still no news regarding the second email.
Folks, shall we call HLS for this? Seems their website discourages applicants to call them.

my take on this would be to wait patiently for the second email. I am sure many of us on here have applied to a handful of universities and know that most universities require us to submit similar (if not identical) documentation - if you have received a "file complete" e-mail from another university, I would think it is highly likely your Harvard file will be found complete when they review it!
What do you guys think?
Good luck!

Yeah Gregor is right...but unfortunately for me, I have applied only for two universities and have not heard abt the completeness of my application [:(]
Nevertheless, where are you guys????

Hello legal eagle!!!
maybe you should call them up ;/
where else have you applied to? :) I applied to quite a few to see who extends the most generous tuition waiver/financial aid.
Cheers,
G

Hi guys. Legal eagle should definitely call. I received my confirmation letter 3 weeks ago. Waiting for them to confirm that my application is complete
Posted Dec 16, 2008 14:54
i think legal eagle got the first one like all of us - just not the second!
Posted Dec 16, 2008 15:29
Right. Sorry about that. So where else have you applied Gregor?
Posted Dec 17, 2008 00:33
Hey dk-mani,
Applied to Chicago, Michigan, Yale, Cornell to see which university provides the most generous financial aid/scholarship.
I have also lodged a JSD/JSD application with NYU and will do the same with UCLA, Georgetown and George Washington soon!
How about yourself?
Cheers,
Gregor

Hey Gregor!
I applied to GULC, Michigan, NYU and HLS. Im also trying to see which school offers me the most generous package. I would generally be happy with any of the schools. Sadly i don't think i will hear anything before mid march. Have you received any funding offers yet?

hey dk-mani,
good choices! nah, haven't heard from any of the unviersities yet unfortunately. I know Columbia and a few others have released their early admission decisions but didn't not apply to them as it would be pointless to get an admission offer but no financial capability to accept it! I guess you are in the same position so good luck and let me know how it goes! :)
Cheers,
Gregor
