Harvard 2021-2022

Hi, just a question: I applied to Harvard, NYU, Cornell and Columbia and already received an admission from Cornell (+ 35K scholarship). Do you think that Harvard and Cornell prefer people with similar background? Thank you!

Hi, congratulations on your admit from Cornell! Is this for the tech law program in their NYC campus? Have you made a decision on whether you're going to pick Cornell?

Hi, no, its a general LLM. Cornell is great, but I would prefer Harvard (if I had the opportunity ^^)... How about you?

Same here!

Hi @Barnsworth, from previous threads, Harvard consistently releases decisions between the 2nd and 3rd week of March. I doubt corona is going to delay the decisions. Last year, we received an e-mail notifying us that the decisions were available on the online portal.

As for funding, I am not sure. All the best to all of us!

quote]Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well! These next 4 weeks are going to DRAG! Anyone got info on how much financial aid international students can get?

Also, regarding are results status updates; will we just get an email all the same time saying that there's been an update? There's no use checking is there? Is it likely that we'll find out week commencing the 14th of March? When did it occur previous years? Might'n there be a delay due to corona?

my requirement list is there.

About the results, I believe in the end of next week or the beginning of the third week of this month.

Yes I think you're correct. As the first Monday of this month started on the 1st I'm not sure if the end of next week would be quite early. Given that it'd be the 11th/12th and therefore it would be one of the earliest release dates so far.

But I think you're right, usually it's the end of the second week or start of the 3rd week. This is quite pedantic (when I Google 'when is late march' it actually links to one of the Harvard discussions on this forum! Haha!) But in the latest update email it says 'end of march', I don't to revamp that semantic debate but perhaps that infers next week would be too early.

But, alas! We don't have too long to wait now  ☺️

27th January, around then. It just stated that they're still working through things. Just sounded like a routine email :)

Do you know if HLS schedules an interview for LLM applicants?  As far as I know, it's a must for the JD but not sure about the LLM.

I mean, you cannot be accepted to the JD program without an interview.

As far as I know there is no interview for the LL.M program. Never heard of.

It seems to be quite random most years. However, the last update email they said "end of march" again, not to go into semantics but back in 2011 it was the 22nd or 21st I think. So could end up actually being the end of this month haha.
