I submitted my application on 30th November 2020 and LSAC sent in my documents the same day but the status for my academic credentials still reads "awaiting". Should I be worried?

Hey everyone,

I have also applied to HLS. I submitted my application about a month ago and are still waiting for an email confirming that my file is complete.
Best of luck to us all!

Just in case, I got an email from them according to some issues in my documents. That was around 3 weeks ago. I believe, they started the review process =)

Hi, just a question: I applied to Harvard, NYU, Cornell and Columbia and already received an admission from Cornell (+ 35K scholarship). Do you think that Harvard and Cornell prefer people with similar background? Thank you!

Has anyone got any idea when results will be released. They say towards the end of March, but am I correct in thinking it's usually around the 16th of March?

From the previous posts, most probably. We have a long month ahead of us. :D

Hi, congratulations on your admit from Cornell! Is this for the tech law program in their NYC campus? Have you made a decision on whether you're going to pick Cornell?

I noticed that the status date of only one document among others is updated and changed to mid Jan. 2021 from the received date (i.e. mid Nov. 2020) while others are still marked around the received date. I have no idea why the status date of only one document changed although it was received at the same timing as other documents.

Hi, no, its a general LLM. Cornell is great, but I would prefer Harvard (if I had the opportunity ^^)... How about you?

Is there anyone in the same situation? I think this indicates that the admission procedures are certainly on progress.

Hi! My status dates vary too. I guess they mark them as soon as they process them. I wouldn't read much into it. If I remember correctly, the website said that they would process documents until Feburary or even later. As long as all documents are marked as received, you should be fine!
Fingers crossed :)

Hi, thanks. I agree with your idea. However, since one of my documents was marked  as received on mid Nov. and thereafter the status date was updated to mid Jan. 2021, I wonder whether there is anyone in the same situation.  Anyway, since all documents are marked as received, I hope there is no problem. Fingers crossed!
