Georgetown's very thoughtful. But, seriously, they had me at "Congratulations!" :)

For foreign-educated lawyers, I think they will begin to invite applicants to apply for scholarships after the regular action deadline on 14 February. It will be quite a wait.

To all successful applicants,
I just received my Offer letter via fedex!!.. The Dean has personally written at the end of the letter to join the course (which is v.appreciable)!!Just curious to know if there is a personal note in all your offer letter by the dean??

Hi, LLM_UKUSA. My admission letter had a personal note at the end, as well.

I don't know, since I also applied to several other universities whose admission decisions have not been made yet. Besides, it will depend on how much financial aid I'll get.

But regardless of scholarships, Georgetown is for now my 1st choice among the universities I've been admitted into ;)

What about you?

I've been dead set on attending GULC. It's the only school I applied for. I must admit though that obtaining a scholarship/grant is a big consideration. Even without it, however, I would not forego of this opportunity to attend my dream school.

My admission mail says that, admitted students page will be activated in 4 days..but its been almost 15 days since then. I mailed them, but no reply as of now.
What exactly is there in that page?

It shouldn't take that long. So maybe this is obvious and I don't mean to insult you, but I made this mistake my first time. On the "Admitted Students" page on the GULC Admissions page, it says, "Click here for the admitted students website." The first one is for JD students. Scroll down to the middle of the page for the "Click here" for LLM students.

From there you click on "Forgotten Password" to request a username and password.

Did you go through all of these steps?

I think you have to click the "No Password" option to request for your login credentials. Then you may set your own user name and password.

The admitted students page contains information on deadlines, requirements, matriculation, course information, bar information, Facebook page information, graduate program history, school resources, among others. Very helpful stuff, in other words.
