Congratulations to everyone who have been admitted and good luck to all that is still in the waiting process.

I applied to Georgetown by the end of December for the IBEL program and have not heard from them yet. Is there anyone else out there who is in a similar situation? Are they a bit in delay in the admission process or is it something particular to me? any ideas?

Am sure the admissions committee knows that if they reject people due to such minor grammatical errors, they will miss out on a lot of talent.

I didn't apply to GULC, but my PS had a few minor grammar mistakes (I wrote "this" instead of "these" twice I think), so I can relate to your situation. At first I was beating up myself about it, just like you are, but by now I have realized that it doesn't matter, I have been admitted to a lot of good Unies, I have even received scholarship offers, regardless of those mistakes, so just relax and try not to worry about it, Im sure it won't affect your application.

I would not worry about innocent mistakes. I would like to believe that the admissions committee understands the level of preparation that applicants put into their documentation/requirements.

Got the admission email last friday! I was crying like a child, even though I am a 32 years old man, and a father of two.

I applied on january 9, and my application got the complete status the very next day.

Anyone plans to attend to the Open House event on campus? I might go. I want to begin looking for a kindergarden for my daughter.
