Hi Guys !

First, congratulations on your acceptance !
You will have a great (if not the best) year.

I was an LLM student at Georgetown this year and I am leaving the US beginning of August. I would like to find someone to take over my apartment (studio in Dupont) and/or furnitures.

Let me know if you're interested.

Hi CSJTax,

yeah really, It was so long that I was going to accept Boston University offer. In fact I was chatting with one of the directors of the Boston University programs when I received the email.
I have been accepted to the two year LL.M. program to study the General LL.M.

Hello guys!

Congratulations on your admissions!

I recently graduated as an IBEL LLM at Georgetown and I am looking for someone to take over the lease of my studio apt + furniture in August. It's a great building located at Dupont Circle.

Contact me if anyone would be interested!

Hi,

I just received an offer from Georgetown. Before that, I was planning to go to Duke U, North Carolina. And I find it is an extremely hard decision to make.

Georgetown is located in DC, which is a much larger city than Durham NC and at the centre of the States. Plus it has a wonderful externship program. Besides Georgetown seems to be more sought after than Duke LLM (I received an offer from Duke two weeks after I submitted my application, whereas I've to wait to this moment to get an offer from GT)

But Duke is ranked higher. (http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools/law-rankings). And apparently Duke U is more famous to laymen. And the people in Duke are very nice.

Hoping to hear from you guys!.
Matt

Congratulations, Matt, on getting into Georgetown. It is highly competitive, as you know.

Regarding the rankings, you have to be careful because the schools actually have separate rankings for the specific LLM program. For Georgetown, you have listed the International Law LLM. Georgetown is one of the top LLM programs for International Law. They even have a brand new building just for international law with its own library just on those subjects. Georgetown actually is ranked higher than Duke in International Law LLM--Georgetown is ranked #3 (Duke is #10):

I am in the Tax Law LLM program at Georgetown and it is ranked #2 in Tax Law.

Let us know what you decide!
